Lin Flanagan BA(Hons)(Open), LGSM, LLCM(TD), LGSM, Dip Mus(Open), Cert.Fr.(Open), PG Dip (Music)(Open), DipABRSM has been teaching and performing for 20 years. While maintaining a career in performance, as a born educator he also chose to concentrate his studies on refining a teaching style that combines a wonderful ‘down-to-earth’ approach with a huge wealth of knowledge and a highly polished and successful teaching technique. He is also a fine player.

He holds 3 Licentiate Teaching Diplomas in Classical, Plectrum and Electric Guitar at The Guildhall School of Music & Drama, and The London College of Music, and a Diploma in Guitar Performance at The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, as well as a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honours, a Diploma in Music and a Postgraduate Diploma in Music at The Open University.

He has lectured at The London College of Music for The Registry of Guitar Tutors and he is also a former Guitar Examiner. He has for many years run the ‘Strugglers’ group courses at Guitar Weekends Ltd.

He has earned himself a place as one of the most highly respected and consulted Guitar Tutors in the UK.
